Stolen vehicle recovered in Ignace
A 38-year-old man is facing charges after stealing a vehicle in Ignace.
On September 8th at approximately 2:45am, members of the Ignace OPP responded to a reported theft of a vehicle from the front of a local hotel.
The vehicle was later found abandoned, and officers recovered the keys shortly after. Investigations led to the arrest of a 38-year-old man, who now faces charges of Theft of Motor Vehicle, Driving while under suspension, and Failure to comply with release order.
The accused has been remanded into custody and will appear in Kenora District Bail Court on Friday.
