Redditt Road incident leads to firearm charges
A 64-year-old man is facing firearm charges after an incident took place on Reddit Road on Tuesday.
Around 11:30 AM, police responded to reports of a man pointing a firearm on Highway 658 near Jack Lake and uttering threats. The individual was taken into custody after a thorough search was executed by the Emergency Response Team.
The suspect faces several firearm related charges and has been remanded into custody. He will appear in court in Kenora at a later date.
