
Fort Frances resident charged with possession of child sexual abuse material
A 39-year-old resident of Fort Frances is facing charges for possession of child sexual abuse material.
Members of the Ontario Provincial Police, with assistance from the OPP Digital Forensics Unit, Child Sexual Exploitation Unit, and the Treaty Three Police Service, concluded an investigation that involved the analysis of an electronic device that belonged to the suspect. This led to the discovery of multiple Child Sexual Abuse Material files.
As a result, the 39-year-old resident has been arrested, and is set to appear in Ontario Court of Justice to answer to their charges on January 19th.
