Fatal collision near Humboldt kills two people
RCMP are investigating a motor vehicle collision that took place on Sunday evening.
Officers responded to the report of a crash between a car and an SUV just after 4:00 pm, which happened just south of Lake Lenore on Highway 368.
The drivers of both vehicles were pronounced dead at the scene, and the three passengers of the SUV were taken to hospital for treatment of their injuries. All those involved in the collision are from the Humboldt area.
The highway was closed for a significant period of time on Sunday to allow officers to perform an on-scene investigation, and has since re-opened.
