
Police investigating sudden death of New Saugeen First Nation woman in Dryden
Ontario Provincial Police and Dryden Police Service are investigating a sudden death in Dryden.
On Monday, December 13th, officers were called to a residence where members of the Dryden Fire Service were attending to an unconscious woman. But despite life-saving efforts, she was pronounced dead.
The deceased is a 34-year-old resident of New Saugeen First Nation.
OPP said on Wednesday that there is no concern for the public safety at this time.
The investigation includes branches of the OPP’s Forensic Identification Services, North West Region Crime Unit and Provincial Liaison Team under the direction of the Criminal Investigation Branch, in conjunction with the Chief Coroner of Ontario.
